This week’s MEDIA INDIGENA moment on THE WORD on STREETZ 104.7 FM — first broadcast live on-air and on-line every Tuesday at noon central, 1 pm eastern — had Rick Harp and Lady V discussing the failures of media coverage regarding accused serial-killer Robert Pickton.

They also promoted an exciting opportunity for one lucky aspiring journalist at the upcoming imagineNATIVE Festival.

  1. Oops. Apparently, I tacked this comment onto another post (where it made no sense whatsoever).

    So here is where It should be. So here it is:
    “Excellent interview, interesting perspectives from Hugill. Makes me wanna holler that government’s right across the country act in similar fashion (off-loading, avoiding, cutting) with similar human tragedies if only on a lesser scale of bloodshed. One word comes to mind about the people who allow this to continue – bastards!”
