Amidst the hip-hop-rock of Red Slam Collective, the soulful sound of Inez and the funktastic flow of Martha Redbone, MEDIA INDIGENA caught up with artist Tasha Hubbard at THE BEAT, imagineNATIVE’s annual Saturday music event, moved this year to Toronto’s legendary Lee’s Palace.

We asked Hubbard why she makes a point of coming to the festival year after year.
